He and his wife made their annual holiday trip to Milford Sunday afternoon to celebrate the season and collect toys for the Toys for Tots program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

Sussex and Kent county residents can qualify for a free window air conditioner through the group’s Summer Cooling Assistance Program. Applications will be taken from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at 308 N. Railroad Ave. in Georgetown and on July 21 at 655 S. Bay Road, Suite 4J, in Dover.
